Work activities are variable and require judgement to complete tasks, setting priorities, evaluating results, and the ability to work independently and within a diversified group.
This includes verifying and checking documents for reasonableness and may also require interaction with supervisors, company management, and outside vendors.
This list is not all inclusive and there will be other duties as assigned.
Applicant will be expected to cross-train in all areas of the office to provide vacation and sick coverage.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM… Education: High school diploma or equivalent required with knowledge in email systems, grammar, basic business practices, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite including Excel).
Requires strong attention to detail.
Confidentiality is a must.
2+ years of general office experience is a must.
THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CAN EXPECT… Office environment – work space is shared with four other clerks.
May encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.
Must be a team player and interact with all vendors and coworkers in a professional manner.
Regularly required to sit, talk, answer phones, and listen.
Repetitive hand motions, and occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Exposure to strong, raw meat odor.
THE DETAILS… Benefits and incentives are available after probationary period of employment, 401k available after 1 year of employment.
Team members must meet eligibility requirements to earn incentives and bonuses.
Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits, incentives and bonuses.
