Peer Advisors provide excellent customer service to current students and visitors in the College of Liberal Arts student services office.

Essential Functions
Assist CLA students with checking into scheduled appointments
Help students schedule future advising appointments
Answer the phone and provide answers to commonly asked questions
Greet students and visitors and provide a welcoming environment
Assist with day-to-day operations in student services
Provide assistance to advising staff during orientation programs (CWE & SOS)
Attend scheduled training sessions
Host workshops related to student services needs
Manage CLA Zoom help room during registration and 1st week of class
Update materials in CLA Peer Advisor Box Folder
Attend career services events as needed
Complete office duties as assigned
Participate in Peer Leader Caucus
Work 5-10 hours each week
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled Auburn University undergraduate student
College of Liberal Arts undergraduate major
Expectations:
Sophomore standing by the start of fall semester of employment

0 cumulative AU GPA or higher
Available to work weekly office hours
Available to attend training (May 6-10) and professional development sessions throughout the year
Possess excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Available to work Camp War Eagle (summer 2024)
Available to work office hours during summer outside of CWE schedule
Pay Rate $9.
00/hour
Work Hours 5-10 hours per week
