Teacher Assistant

*DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:* This position is responsible for assisting the teacher in employing curricula that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of preschool children, ages 3-5, from diverse backgrounds.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* Must have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent and a Child Development Accreditation (CDA) with (1) year experience in multi-family child care; AA degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with experience in teaching preschool children is preferred *OR *an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Must meet criteria for background screening as required for child care licensing and federal regulations.
