Railroad Construction Operator/Laborer

HG Railroad Services is a railroad services contracting company based out of Opelika, Ala.
A division of Hydro Green Erosion Control, HG is currently seeking applicants for the position of Laborer/Operator with our maintenance & track construction crews.
We are an experienced team with a strong work ethic and take pride in completing our quality work on schedule to meet our customers' needs.
No previous experience required but experienced applicants with railroad background preferred.
*Responsibilities* * extensive travel, some overnight required.
* Perform duties and tasks assigned by track foreman * Remove and replace ties and rails; pull and drive railroad spikes.
* Uses hand tools & operates heavy equipment *Qualifications* * Ability to travel frequently, days at a time.
* Valid drivers license required.
* Ability to pass railroad safety training.
* CDL a plus.
