Job Title: Local Driver - Home daily - NO TOUCH
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods to various locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or damages
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Experience:
- Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with local roads and routes in the area
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or forklifts, is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and documentation
