As a Class A driver with our company, you will enjoy the following benefits and opportunities:
No-Touch Freight:
All of our freight is 100% no-touch, meaning you won't have to handle the cargo directly.
Over 50% of our loads are drop and hook, making the loading and unloading process efficient and easy.
Competitive Pay:
We offer a starting pay range of .
55 to .
65 CPM (cents per mile).
On average, our drivers run 2500-2800 miles per week, resulting in a weekly pay range of $1375 to $1700.
Home Time:
Drivers will have home time every other week for two days.
We try our best to schedule home time during the weekends, although there is no guarantee.
Coast-to-Coast Runs:
While much of our freight is on the east coast, drivers should expect and be comfortable with running coast to coast.
Running coast to coast ensures a variety of routes and experiences.
Trainee Program:
We also have opportunities for trainees who have recently obtained their Class A CDL.
Trainees will receive a weekly pay of $650 and must complete 250-300 hours behind the wheel to go solo.
During the training period, trainees must be willing to run OTR (over the road) as there is a lack of trainers on this account.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the Class A driver position, you must meet the following requirements:
Valid Class A CDL:
From trainees to experienced drivers, all applicants must have a valid Class A CDL.
Accident History:
No DOT preventable accidents with damage greater than $1750 in the last 2 years.
No major accidents with a cost of $2500 in damage or claims.
Any DOT preventable accident in the last 5 years is an automatic disqualification.
Incident History:
No more than 2 preventable incidents in the last 2 years, with damage less than $1750.
Employment Termination:
Cannot have been terminated from your last job due to safety concerns.
Clean Driving Record:
No DUI (Driving Under the Influence) in the last 5 years in a commercial vehicle.
Must have never failed a DOT (Department of Transportation) drug or alcohol test.
