Delivery Driver

Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages or goods to customers - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries - Load and unload packages or goods from the vehicle - Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure Experience: - Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with courier, moving, or route driving is a plus - Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers and vehicles with manual transmission - Proficient in using GPS navigation systems to navigate routes efficiently - Knowledge of forklift operation is an asset Skills: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers - Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries - Physical stamina to load and unload packages or goods, as well as perform other physical tasks as required - Attention to detail to accurately record delivery information and address any discrepancies Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
