PURPOSE: Ensures preventative and predictive maintenance systems effectively make HTGP equipment run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the equipment and building does not deteriorate. RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to the policies and procedures. Learns, demonstrates, and upholds HTGP Core Values Treat all HTGP team members with respect and professional courtesy. Complies with all HTGP Certification Standards; Management System (IATF 16949), Environmental ISO 14001 and Health and 45001 policies and procedures. Always strives to maintain a positive work environment. Manages the Department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget. Performs additional assignments / duties as required by management EHS: Adheres to all safety policies and procedures Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment. Consistently meets company safety goals. Technical: Coordinates and leads project activities assigned by management. Understanding and can analyze equipment data and countermeasure as needed. Support as needed in countermeasures for internal, Customer and Market quality problems. Fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; review with equipment vendors as needed. Create and implement countermeasures for equipment based on downtime data. Training Team Members in Maintenance role based on knowledge and weak point area. Working with equipment suppliers & contractors to install or improve equipment or processes. Support and Implement capital projects as per yearly schedule. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing KPI department goals. Must be hands on when problem solving and supporting equipment issues. Prepares reports and presentations as required, improvements, corrective actions and quality issues etc. Understand and applies correct LOTO procedures and leads others in same Support weekend / shutdown PM schedules for all HTGP equipment as required. Ensures PM Work Orders are completed on time. Documents, evaluates and improves maintenance objectives. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting based on equipment breakdown. Support new and current equipment improvement. Knowledgeable and experienced relating to Siemens and other types of PLC Software / Hardware / Programming platforms used in Systems. Ability to learn and progress in the trouble shooting and other aspects of the PLC Programs and equipment mechatronics as they are, as they are developing and as they are used. Leadership: Documents all activities in a timely manner. Ensures Team Members perform to company policies and procedures. Builds and maintains good working relationships with Team Members and Management Directs multiple Team Members and their respective zones. Measures team efficiency (downtime rate, MTBF, MTTR, etc.) and assure that key performance metrics are met or exceeded. Helps all direct reports with motivating, mentoring, personal and professional growth and goal setting. Maintains flow of operations by directing the work of employees, and communicating production status, requirements, and problems to related departments. Directs and oversees outside contractors performing maintenance, installation, or equipment modifications. QUALIFICATIONS: High School/GED 4 Year Degree or comparable background of work-related experience in human resources related discipline preferred. Self-motivation and ability to work with little direction. Excellent oral communication and listening skills. Excellent interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational skills General computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. A positive team attitude. Software Skills Required: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) SAP VAATZ ADP PREFERRED SKILLS: Tier-I Automotive Manufacturing experience preferred. Cross-cultural experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs. Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
