*The engineer’s responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by the Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager, safely operating equipment, and working alongside other engineers in the planning, design, development, and evaluation stages of projects. The engineer should be able to diagnose problems and follow instructions in fast-paced environments.* *Duties & Responsibilities* · Understand and carry out all tasks given by the Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager. · Collaborate with other engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve products and engineering processes. · Be able to generate an accurate bill of materials and proposals or quotes. · Make and manage shop drawings and part drawings. · Create and modify 3D models of parts and their assemblies. · Be able to determine accurate parts with best price in the market on all parts and components sourcing. · Make CNC files & cut lists from bill of materials. · Review drawings to meet specifications. · Determine engineering requirements by conducting inspections and analytical tests. · Evaluate designs or specifications to ensure quality. · Perform all required QC checks such as parts, Prototypes and First Articles using drawings as a reference. · Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, or drawings. · Provide technical support and explain engineering drawings, specifications, or other technical information to other employees. · Monitor the progress of projects to meet production deadlines. · Make purchase requests / Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock. · Ensure all expenses stay within the allocated budget. · Teach a Robotic Welder. · Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information, modifying engineering techniques, and performing installations. · Assists in the operation and maintenance of an assigned corporate owned facility and property. · Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment as required. · Maintains project team accomplishments by communicating essential information. · Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals. · Be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. · Weekend work is necessary to ensure no downtime on every Monday production schedule. · Performs related work as assigned. · Problem-solving capabilities. · Ability to act decisively. · Ability to work in a logical, systematic manner. · Capacity to grasp concepts easily. · Attention to detail. · Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. · Excellent time management. · Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. · Good physical health. *Skills/Knowledge* · Active learning -Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. · Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. · Computer aided design CAD software – Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD. · Computerized Numerical Control CNC software – Enroute & IGEMS. · MS Office Suite software – MS Word & MS Excel. *Education and Experience Requirements* · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is a plus. · Associates degree in a relevant engineering discipline. · Experience using CAD software is a plus. · Ability to follow instructions and to collaborate with others. *PAY*: Position will be hourly with Start Pay of $28.00 per hour. 90 Day Probation period. “The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
