Position Summary: This position is responsible for Managing Maintenance Group Leader, Team Leaders and Team Members in all areas of maintenance. Essential Functions: Corporate: Adheres to the Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain policies and procedures Learn, demonstrate and uphold HTGP Core Values Complies with all Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001 and Health and Safety OHSAS 18001 policies and procedures Treat all PTA team members with respect and professional courtesy Always strives to maintain a positive work environment Manage the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget Performs additional assignments / duties as required by management EHS: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment Consistently strives to maintain company safety goals Technical: Maintains plant equipment in good working order with the timely completion of repairs if failures occur. Assure adequate spare/repair parts to maintain equipment. Generates and understand performance reports. Institutes and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize maintenance costs and downtime. Works toward the elimination of all production downtime related to equipment operation Complies with all environmental regulations Control and report Maintenance KPI report, including tracking trend with root cause analysis and countermeasure. Monitor plant utilities and trend, including analysis and countermeasure with improvements. Drive fast response to root cause analysis. Leadership: Ensures Team Members perform to company policies and procedures Builds and maintains good working relationships with Team Members and management Directs multiple Team Members and their respective zones Meets or exceeds all customer requirements with excellent service and quick resolution of customer needs. Maintains flow of operations by directing the work of employees, and communicating production status, requirements, and problems to related departments. Directs and oversees outside contractors performing maintenance or equipment modifications. Performs time input and other administrative tasks as required Maintains a pro-Team Member work environment Promotes department goals by providing guidance to all team members. Education High School/GED (required) 4 Year Degree (preferred)* * Equivalent work related experience (equivalency is figured generally as 2 years’ experience equaling 1 year of formal education) may be considered in addition to the “Position Requirement”.
