Growing automotive dealership group is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager / Commercial Fleet Manager to further develop and oversee their Commercial Division for 3 domestic dealerships.
This person will report directly to the Dealer Principals who are supportive of growing the commercial department with the right leader in place.
This is a great opportunity for a proven automotive Fleet Manager / Commercial Sales Manager who wants to build out and structure their own department for long-term success.
Each dealership will have one Commercial Sales Representative in their location that will report to this person, so the person hired will be responsible to oversee and build out a team of 3 Commercial Sales Reps – with the goal of growing their team as their division grows.
This is a great opportunity to take over a very large territory with huge potential for fleet sales as other dealer groups have yet to really focus on developing their fleet business in this region.
Likewise, the Dealer Principal is very supportive of growing the business and is ready for a Commercial Sales Director to further expand that side of their business and will give the tools necessary for success.
This person will not be micromanaged so it is important that the person hired is forward thinking, strategic, energized, and motivated to build and develop the business.
Responsibilities:
Fleet Management: Develop and implement fleet sales and management strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for commercial vehicles.
Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their specific needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
Business Development: Research new market opportunities, lead generation, gaining new commercial clients
Inventory Control: Manage commercial vehicle inventory, ensuring the right mix of vehicles is available to meet customer demands.
Pricing and Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements with commercial customers, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales and support teams to achieve department goals and foster a positive work environment.
Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to identify opportunities and challenges.
Reporting: Generate reports and analyses on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction to support decision-making.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and dealership policies.
Compensation:
Compensation range will be in the $200,000.
00 range for the successful candidate.
