Key Responsibilities:
* *Customer Service: *Greeting customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, answering their questions, and assisting them throughout their shopping experience.
* *Cash Handling: *Accurately processing cash, credit card, and other forms of payments for purchases made by customers.
* *Point of Sale Operations:* Operating the cash register or POS system to scan and enter product prices, ensuring correct pricing, and providing customers with receipts.
* *Product Knowledge: *Familiarizing oneself with the store's products to assist customers with their inquiries and suggest additional items that may complement their purchases.
* *Upselling and Cross-Selling: *Suggesting complementary products or promotions to increase sales and enhance the customer's shopping experience.
* *Maintaining Cleanliness: *Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and free from clutter.
* *Compliance: *Adhering to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and cash handling.
* *Team Collaboration: *Working cooperatively with other store team members to achieve common goals and ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong communication skills
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Good organizational and time management skills
* Integrity and trustworthiness in handling money

* Prior experience as a cashier is a plus!
