Retail Store Manager

We curate vendors to create a unique shopping experience where you can come to one place and support several different local businesses.
Our goal is to connect customers with what is right here in Auburn! We are seeking a personable and professional Store Manager for our Auburn Mall location to oversee daily store operations, manage store employees and maintain/grow vendor relationships.
The manager will work closely with the ownership team and will also be responsible for inventory, merchandising and customer service.
The manager should aim to create an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers.
*Essential Job Functions:* · Manages daily operations for retail store including all opening, closing and day to day responsibilities.
· Understands point of sale system; Can check out customers, process a variety of transactions, run reports, and supervise deposits.
· Builds relationships with small business vendors to ensure vendor sections are fully stocked, seasonal and replenished when needed.
· Handles all hiring, training and discipline as needed of store employees.
· Responsible for creating store schedules and appropriately staffing store at all times.
· Manages inventory intake and restocking needs for vendor and store owned inventory.
· Creates welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers and regularly trains employees on customer service policies.
· Ensure the store and stockroom are well kept, organized and cleaned daily · Oversees cash management including weekly bank deposits · Directs merchandising to keep windows and store displays fresh and seasonal.
*Qualifications:* · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Administrative abilities including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite · Ability to multitask and stay organized · Professional and friendly attitude to employees, vendors and shoppers · Strong leadership skills · Customer service-oriented attitude *Preferred Skills and Education:* · Bachelor’s degree · 3-5 years retail experience; management experience preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
