POSITION SUMMARY
The Information Security Analyst ensures the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies through the performance of formal Risk Assessments, Policy and Governance, and internal Threat Analysis.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in computer science or other technology focused subject
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years of experience in Information Security or a closely related field involving security standards and regulations (such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS 3.
2, ISO 27001, HITRUST and NIST), network security protocols and methodologies
Required Registration/License/Certification
Valid driver’s license
One of the following:
GIAC Security Essentials Certified (GSEC)
Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
CompTIA Security +.
Other technology mid-level or higher certifications based on CIO & Director approval
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or other technology focused subject
Preferred Experience
One year experience in desktop computing, network communications, and/or telecommunications
Preferred Registration/License/Certification
Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
