```Job Overview:``` We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team.
As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution center.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
```Responsibilities:``` - Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff during assigned shifts - Ensure that all shipping and receiving processes are carried out accurately and efficiently - Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to maintain optimal stock levels - Oversee the operation of forklifts and other heavy machinery, ensuring safety protocols are followed - Utilize AS400 system to track and manage inventory - Collaborate with the E-commerce team to fulfill online orders in a timely manner - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Train and mentor new team members - Address any performance or disciplinary issues in a timely manner - Collaborate with other shift leaders and warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations across all shifts ```Skills:``` To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and logistics processes - Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts safely - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as needed - Proficiency in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems - Familiarity with E-commerce operations is a plus - Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse supervisor role is preferred - Excellent leadership and team management skills If you are a motivated individual with a passion for logistics and team management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
