Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the shift
- Ensure efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas
- Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor food production and quality to meet customer expectations
- Coordinate with other departments, such as banquet and catering, to ensure seamless service
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to achieve business goals
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and customers
- Proficient in kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
- Knowledge of banquet and catering operations is a plus
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during the shift
