Position Title Extension Program Leader for Family, Community, and Youth Development
Job Summary
Extension program development, implementation, and assessment in Agricultural and Natural Resource
Essential Job Duties
Provides leadership within planning, monitoring, and evaluation of Extension and related programs in Family, Home, and Youth
Provides information and support to faculty, resource specialists, and agents as relates to
Collects and assists in storing, sharing, and submission of all
Extension program data for Family, Home, and Youth and information to selected Tuskegee University, State, and USDA NIFA online templates
Extracts information from various sources and communicates to internal and external audiences the impact/value of CAENS, TU Cooperative Extension, and where appropriate AL Cooperative Extension
Provides technical assistance to CAENS and Cooperative Extension colleagues in program design, logic model development; curriculum research/development; Extension publication/fact sheet generation; evaluation planning and design; and data collection and analysis methods.
Assist in developing and providing various professional development experiences (i.
e.
, New Extension professional orientation, core training, and in-service trainings) in Family, Home, and Youth.
Cooperates with CAENS/Extension personnel to develop strong, integrated programs in Family, Home, and Youth.
Other duties as assigned by the 1890 Extension Administrator.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
Master’s degree in agriculture, environmental science, or food science/education closely related field is require
10+ years of relevant experience.
