Position Title Program Manager-Research
Job Summary
Develops, plans, maintains research and policy analysis.
Oversees the general running of the grant program
Essential Job Duties
Oversees grant research agenda, setting deadlines, assigning tasks, and monitoring project progress.
Facilitates collaboration between faculty, adjuncts, and staff both internal and external.
Manages budget, negotiates contracts, reports progress, and approves expenditures.
Informs PI and upper management of key activities and assists in grant proposals.
Conducts or supervises research-related training, manages strategic plans, and communicates objectives to the community and professionals.
Participates in committees, stays informed on department protocols, and oversees Human Resources activities for direct reports.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
Five years of applicable experience
May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement
