Position Information Position Title Piano Instructor Job Summary Teach all piano principals, minors, and electives Essential Job Duties Teach six to seven credits of Music History and/or Music Theory.
Provide accompaniment for all Tuskegee Choir performances and rehearsals, including weekly All-University Worship services, and the annual spring tour; provide accompaniment and music for major academic functions (e.
g.
convocations, commencements, etc.
).
Preferred Qualifications Master of Music degree (with a preference for Music Education) Earned doctorate or artist diploma in accompanying (or ABD status) is recommended Vast experience in accompanying, including gospel music.
The candidate must possess knowledge of vocal literature.
