This posistion will be a direct report to our operations manager and store owner.
You will be a vital part to operations as you ensure quality control of our pit and all food related items prepared there.
We are seeking someone with strong time and organizational skills.
This posistion does require lifting over 20 lbs frequently and traversing inventory via stairs and walk in coolers.
This is a strenuous posistion and will require manual labor.
We want to add a someone to our small crew that is not afraid to step up to the plate (literally and figuratively.
) We want someone that knows they are reliable and dedicated to get their tasks completed.
We are currently not accepting in person applications, however you may feel free to swing by and express you interest to one of our shift managers or operations manager.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Ensure the PIT/Kitchen areas are clean, well maintained and organized at all times
* Handle restaraunt equipment including stoves, wood fire pit, etc.
* Properly test food product to ensure proper temps and ready to serve daily
* Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times
* Adhere to all sanitation guidelines
* Assist the Operations Manager as and when necessary
* Dispose of waste as per Roger's and authority standards and adhere to recycling guidelines
* Conduct general cleaning as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up,
* Emptying of rubbish bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers.
* Cleans large equipment as assigned, following established procedures.
* Consistently adheres to SDS (Safety Data Sheet) information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.
* Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
* Clean, sanitize and close workstations
* Uses and maintains all equipment according to standards.
* Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the kitchen manager
* Assist in food preparation as directed by manager
* Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
* Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting etc.
)
* Read and follow recipe instructions
* Prepare food to order and large batch size
* Check food while cooking to stir or turn
* Assemble to-go orders and dining room order to Roger's standards.

* Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

* Ability to work Monday through Saturday as needed from 4:45AM- 4:00 PM

* 90 DAY EVALUATION BASED ON PERFORMANCE
