POSITION: Administrative Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt)

As the Administrative Community Intern, you must be creative, adaptive, outgoing, and hardworking.
This position requires the ability to deliver high quality customer service and dedication to our residents.
Administrative Community Interns (ACIs) must possess the skills to cooperate and collaborate as a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to)
Manage the collection of rents and deposits from residents.
Maintain resident ledgers to ensure correct balances.
Minimize delinquency through consistent follow-up, including phone calls, notices, and personal visits.
Issue notices to residents for late or non-payment, evictions, returned memos, etc.
Process all move-outs and evictions.
Provide general clerical assistance to the community office including but not limited to answering phones, taking messages, and filing.
Maintain a strong knowledge of the overall community and assist with tours and other cross-position tasks as needed and as assigned.
Help residents with daily needs
Assist other team members with projects and tasks
“On-call” responsibilities (lock-outs, nightly rounds, etc.
)
Keep in communication with residents and team members
Abide by company policies and procedures
Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties (including package management)
Attend meetings and required events
Empower other team members and residents by being a leader at the community
Attend educational classes on a monthly basis
Weekly floor inspections
Required to work evenings and weekends
Assist with on-campus housing fairs and other related marketing events
Be a Self-Starter and manage school and required work hours
Participate in Cardinal U training as required
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate
Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled accredited college or university.
Must maintain a minimum 2.
5 cumulative grade point average.
GPA will be verified on an annual basis.
Failure to maintain a minimum 2.
5 cumulative GPA may result in probation, suspension or release from the Community Intern position.
Must be a current or future leaseholder of community
Must live on designated community floor, per community guidelines, as assigned by Community Manager
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Available to be scheduled for work approximately 20 hours per week
Available evenings and weekends
Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal’s Core Values every day
REVIEW PERIOD: Community Interns will be required to re-apply for the Community Intern position annually.
Previous employment does not represent a commitment to rehire the Team Member.
Exceptions may be granted by a Portfolio Manager on an individual basis.

The Team Member must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of minimum forty (40) pounds.
